New Rotary Pumps From Rietschle Thomas Are Engineered for Increased Service Life

All-new design FLG 12/01-LC miniature liquid pumps from Rietschle Thomas incorporate an improved shaft seal and corrosion-resistance features that bring the pump's life expectancy to more than 1,000 hours. Rotary vane technology provides pulse-less, reversible flow and quiet operation. Key applications include general liquids dispensing, fuel cells, coolant circulation, food and beverage lines, and condensate removal systems.

The FLG 12/01-LC pump comes with a 12-volt (nominal) permanent magnet DC motor, capable of operating at 4 to 15 VDC. Polyoxymethylene vanes, butadiene acrylonitrile (NBR) seals and an injection molded liquid crystal polymer housing combine for an ultra-corrosion-resistant package. The pump measures 2.7 in. (68.4 mm) long, 1.2 in. (30.3 mm) wide and 1.1 in. (28.7 mm) high. It weighs 2.6 oz. (75 g). Maximum fluid flow is rated at 0.34 gal/min (1.3 l/min). Maximum pressure is rated at 10.2 psi (7 m H2O), with maximum dry suction height of 0.24 in. hg (0.08 m H2O) and maximum flooded suction height of 15.6 in. hg (5.2 m H2O).

With annual sales of over two million units into more than 70 countries, Rietschle Thomas stands as the world leader in vacuum and pressure technology. Rietschle Thomas has been supplying custom and standard pumps and compressors for both air and liquid for over four decades. Rietschle Thomas products are used in a wide variety of applications including medical and pharmaceutical equipment, automobiles, business machines, printing presses, packaging machines, environmental systems and vending products, among others.
