New Economical Rotary Paddle Level Control Seals Process Connection

Used in powder and bulk bins, hoppers, silos, tanks and feed lines, the NEW Series PLS Paddle Level Switch from the Proximity Controls Division of Dwyer Instruments, Inc. is ideal for monitoring levels of bulk material in pneumatic conveying and dust collection systems. Incorporating the time proven magnetic drive technology employed by our Mark Series valve position indicators, the control head is completely sealed from the process preventing material or dust from entering.

The Series PLS Paddle Level Switch is weatherproof and features a motor shut-off when the paddle stalls, which increases motor life, decreases power usage and prevents motor burnout. The slip clutch design enabled by the magnetic drive prevents damage to the motor and drive mechanism from sudden or excessive loading on the paddle.

Priced from $150, units feature an easily viewed status indication light standard on weatherproof models. The Series PLS's modular design allows field installation of any paddle, flanges, shaft extensions, or shaft guards, and incorporates a screw cover on the enclosure for worry-free access. Units are available for top or side mounting, with an explosion-proof enclosure, or with a high temperature option for use with media up to 500°F (260°C).
