Rotary Indexing Screen Printers offer 360° printing of rounds.

Press Release Summary:

With up to 8 printing heads, K 15-CNC Series prints on cylindrical, conical, oval, flat plastic and glass bottles, cups, cartridges, and plastic tubes with speeds up to 5.400 cycles/hr. Variable article and screen movements are controlled by servo motors and CNC-axis. Data input of article related parameters via touch panels allows automatic adjustment of screen stroke, article rotation, and squeegee movement. Electronically controlled, all constant movements are adaptable to specific needs.

Kammann Introduces Another Evolutionary Machine for Printing Bottles

The new K15CNC is viewed as the turning point in innovative technology by many packaging experts.

Newburyport MA USA

The K 15 - CNC is a family of newly designed rotary indexing screen printers with up to 8 printing heads used for the decoration of cylindrical, conical, oval, flat plastic and glass bottles, cups, crème jars, cartridges, plastic tubes etc. with a speed up to 5.400 cycles/hour.

Variable article and screen movements are controlled by servo motors and CNC-axis. Data input of article related parameters (diameter, taper, radius, print image length) via modern touch panels allows the automatic adjustment of screen stroke, article rotation and squeegee movement. All data can be stored for repeat orders.

All constant movements like machine indexing, article input and exit, opening and closing stroke are electronically controlled and therefore adaptable to specific needs.

Once fixed in its tool (single capture tooling) the article travels through all printing stations. This feature enables users to decorate articles with multi-color patterns in perfect color to color registration without the need for a register mark or register lug. High efficient UV systems is available for guaranteed ink curing on glass or plastic articles.

The K 15 - CNC series allows for 360° all around printing not only rounds but oval and 3-dimensional shapes as well. Square articles can be turned for printing all sides in one pass. K 15 - CNC is the perfect association of the high printing speed possible with a rotary indexing machine concept and the flexibility given by CNC controlled movements.

Loading and unloading for either upright standing or laying articles is possible. Pre-treatment systems with flame, corona and anti-static can be included. State of the art camera inspection for print quality control is an optional feature.

The small foot print, extremely short change-over times, inexpensive tooling costs make the K 15 series a very efficient and versatile screen printing machine with almost unlimited printing possibilities and guarantee for fast return of investment.
