Bosch ClicLoc(TM) Makes Rotary Hammer A Three-Jaw Bulldog(TM)

Bosch 11224VSRC Rotary Hammer Expands Versatility with Chuck Change System

Mount Prospect, Ill., February 8, 2005 - For any professional in search of a single tool to drill concrete, masonry, wood and metal, the new Bosch 11224VSRC 7/8-inch SDS-plus® Rotary Hammer with its patented ClicLoc(TM) Chuck Change System is the answer. Known worldwide for the Bulldog® rotary hammer, Bosch Power Tools and Accessories, a division of the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, now offers professionals a rotary hammer with the versatility of a hammer drill.

Drawing from the market dominance of the 11224VSR 7/8-inch SDS-plus rotary hammer, Bosch developed the 11224VSRC's ClicLoc system to provide professionals versatility without a loss in performance. On the job, users simply slide the chuck collar forward to entirely release the SDS-plus tool holder from the tool, and then click the included 3-jaw keyless chuck in its place. By selecting from one of the three mode options - rotation-only, rotary hammer or hammer-only, users have one tool to do the job of three.

With ClicLoc, Bosch drastically expands the 11224VSR's versatility. General contractors can drill wood plates and the concrete below for fastening, not to mention drilling and fastening deck ledgers. Drilling metal strut and panels and then fastening them to concrete or masonry will cause no problem for electricians. And with a quick chuck change, plumbers can drill into steel studs and then concrete with no reservation. For professionals like sign installers, the 11224VSRC offers a single solution for every step of the process. And contractors installing tilt walls can fasten braces and remove them later, all with one tool.

The 11224VSRC boasts all the same features that made the 11224VSR the number one rotary hammer in North America. Combine 6.9 Amp, 1.6 ft/lbs impact force, 0-6,150 BPM and 0-1,100 RPM and users recognize a workhorse when they see one. Designed for continuous drilling all day, features like variable speed for accurate bit starts, a D-handle design for comfort, and Vario-Lock(TM) to optimize work in 36 different chisel angles, give users the highest level of control and comfort.

The following components are available standard with the 11224VSRC: SDS-plus ClicLoc Tool Holder, 3-jaw keyless ClicLoc Chuck, 360-degree Auxiliary Handle, Depth Rod and Carrying Case.
