Rotary Benders operate on rotary draw bending principle.

Press Release Summary:

Mechanically powered without hydraulics or pneumatics, DD-Series is driven with double reduction, right angle helical gear drive. Die on center of bending machines rotates and draws material being bent past stationary block. Primarily used to bend solid round bar stock for anchor bolts and U bolts, machines feature dovetail drive plates and threaded drive spindles. Tooling changeovers can be accomplished in less than 10 minutes with standard hand tools.

Pedrick Tool & Machine Introduces New DD-Series Rotary Benders

The DD-Series benders are the newest addition to the PEDRICK line of bending machines. Like all PEDRICK bending machines they are mechanically powered without any hydraulics or pneumatics. They are driven with a double reduction, right angle helical gear drive. Unlike standard PEDRICK bending machines they operate on the rotary draw bending principle. The die on the center of the bending machine rotates and draws the material being bent past a stationary block.

The DD-Series Series bending machine is primarily used to bend solid round bar stock for anchor bolts and U bolts. We developed this line of bending machines as a less expensive alternative to our standard line of bending machines. They are not as versatile but offer a tremendous amount of bending power in a compact package. With dovetail drive plates and threaded drive spindles tooling is very easy to manufacture allowing the customer to economically make their own tooling. Tooling changeovers can be accomplished in less than 10 minutes with standard hand tools. They require minimal maintenance and are built to last and produce thousands of bends with no down time. The beauty if this machine is its simplicity of operation and massive power.
