Robohand Expands Rotary Actuator Product Line With Machine Load / Unload Version - The DRM
January 30, 2002 - Robohand, Inc., located in Monroe, Conn., introduces a new pre-engineered machine load / unload rotary actuator - the DRM.
The DRM is a fully integrated rotary actuator that can be purchased as a stand-alone unit allowing user customization, or pre-engineered with a wide range of two-and three-finger parallel grippers. Pneumatic lines and electrical connections are plumbed through the unit, eliminating wrapping and exposed lines. As part of the Robohand DirectConnect(TM) system, grippers can be mounted without the need, cost, or weight of additional adapter plates.
These units are ideal for load/unload in machining applications or were one part needs to be exchanged with another. Four sizes are available with multiple gripper selections per size.
