Ross Solar Group to Install Three Additional Solar Projects for Jetro Restaurant Depot

Total of 2.6 megawatts to be installed in Metro NY
NEW YORK, June 1, 2016 - The Ross Solar Group has reached an agreement to install three additional solar projects for Jetro Restaurant Depot at the company's College Point, Maspeth, and Port Chester facilities in Metro New York. Comprised of nearly 8,000 high efficiency SunPower solar panels, the three rooftop installations total over 2.59 megawatts, once again demonstrating the viability of large scale solar installations in the New York City and Westchester markets.
In 2013, Ross Solar installed a 1.56-megawatt SunPower solar power system installation for Jetro at their Bronx, NY facility which, at the time, was the largest rooftop solar installation in New York City. It was also the first solar power system to integrate a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system to allow Con Edison to remotely monitor and control energy production.

According to estimates provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the three new systems to be installed will offset over 2,220 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually.
