New Rope Connectors Make Rope-to-Rope or Rope-to-Swivel Connection Fast and Secure
Trevose, PA -- General Machine Products Company, Inc. (GMP), Trevose, PA, is pleased to introduce a new line of Rope Connectors to its extensive line of Aerial and Underground tools and equipment. Rope Connectors make the attachment of rope to rope or rope to swivels easier. All three of GMP's Rope Connectors are made from durable stainless steel. All Rope Connectors also offer a safety factor per load of 3:1 (horizontal pully only). GMP's Rope to Rope Connector can be used to join any two ropes with diameters of .875 inches (22 mm) or less. The Rope to Rope Connectors are designed to handle up to a 15,000 lbs. (6,804 kg) maximum load.
GMP's Rope to Swivel Connectors allow for rope and swivels to be attached to one another. The .5 inch (12.7 mm) Rope to Swivel Connector can handle a maximum load of 7,000 lbs. (6,804 kg), while the .66 inch connector can handle a maximum load of 15,000 lbs. (3,175 kg).
