Jammes Industrie Introduces Its New Semi-Automatic NC Sheet Metal Rolling Machine to Fabricate Varied-Shaped Products

Constantly striving for greater productivity, each year the French company Jammes Industrie introduces new high tech machines to its customers. This year's important innovation is the now simplified NC developed for the semi-automatic rolling machine type 132 NC (with two radii maximum per part). Patented, the machine is ideal for manufacturing catalytic converters, exhaust pipes, coffee and tea urns for organizations, lighting products, and many other sheet metal items.
The Jammes semi-automatic rolling machine benefits from a high production capacity due to its new integrated NC. All shapes are pre-recorded in the NC control, which enables the operator to switch from one product to another by selecting the required program. Product changes can be made in less than thirty seconds.
Its advanced rolling process and NC control enable this machine to produce up to 180 parts per hour in a variety of shapes, including round, oval, square, and triangular. Thanks to its large storage capacity up to 100 different programs can be memorized. Easy to operate, it does not require any prior training.
The company's existing customers include major automotive equipment manufacturers such as Faurecia, Bosal, Donaldson, and Tenneco. It recently displayed this machine at the 2002 FABTECH show in Chicago.
