Wayne Dalton Introduces Advanced Rolling Door and Grille Systems

New 600 ADV Rolling Grille, 800/800C ADV Rolling Door Systems Designed for Demanding Applications

LEWISVILLE, Texas – Wayne Dalton is introducing speed and security with two new commercial entry systems, the Advanced Rolling Door System 800/800C ADV and the Advanced Rolling Grille Systems 600 ADV.

Designed to open and close faster while delivering high-cycle performance and long-term quality, both of Wayne Dalton’s new products provide security coupled with low maintenance. The Wayne Dalton Advanced Rolling Grille 600 ADV opens three times faster than a standard rolling grille and comes with a springless design which eliminates the need for spring replacement. Meanwhile, the Wayne Dalton Advanced Rolling Door 800/800C ADV opens two times faster than a standard sectional door and three times faster than a standard rolling door. It also provides lasting durability and security features, making it a top choice for businesses looking for an advanced performance door for increased productivity.

Both the Advanced Rolling Grille and the Advanced Rolling Door are designed with safety in mind. Both the door and grille systems include photoelectric sensors that cast an invisible beam across the door opening that reverses the downward motion of the door when an object enters the beam’s path. They also include self-monitoring 2-wire, electric fail-safe sensing edges to reverse downward motion upon impact. Finally, a drop stop device on both the grille and door eliminates uncontrolled downward curtain travel. Additionally, the Advanced Rolling Door System includes a curtain material composed of interlocking metal slats, which, combined with the weight of the door and the brake, helps prevent the door from being pried open.

With both of these models, we’ve combined the speed, security and safety features our dealers and their commercial and industrial customers ask for most,” said Jennifer Malcuit, rolling steel product manager for Wayne Dalton. “The Advanced Rolling Door and Advanced Grille systems are ideal choices for high-traffic applications.”

Ideal applications for the Advanced Rolling Grille System include high traffic areas such as parking garages, industrial manufacturing facilities, public facilities and shipping docks. Some applications for the Advanced Rolling Door include areas such as public and government buildings, police sally ports, auto dealerships, warehouses, airports and hospitals.
