Roller Rail Systems handle loads up to 200 tons.

Press Release Summary:

Roller Rail Systems are linear guide ways which utilize precision bearing rollers. Sizes 65/100 and 125 meet special requirements in machine tool, injection molding, robot, and heavy machinery industries. Size 65/100 is 100 mm wide with 2-row hole pattern. Both guide rails come with Rail Seal(TM) cover strip, machined aluminum end caps, and additional lube ports. They can be ordered in single-piece lengths up to 4 m, or as composite rails when lengths greater than 4 m are required.

Company will display Roller Rail System at the IMTS 2002 Manufacturing Conference, September 4-11, 2002 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Booth #4222

Rexroth Roller Rail Systems are linear guide ways which utilize precision bearing rollers and offer extremely high load capacity, high rigidity and excellent running properties under load. Two new sizes, 65/100 and 125, have been added to the upper range of the product offering to meet special requirements in the machine tool, paper and printing, injection molding, industrial robot, and heavy machinery industries. The biggest, size 125, can handle loads up to 200 tons.

The new 65/100 guide rail uses the same profile contour as the standard size 65 rail, but is 100 mm wide with a two-row hole pattern and a wider runner block. The larger supporting surface allows for precise mounting, with double the number of screw fixing points and smaller screws. The resulting 40% improvement in torsional stiffness and 50% increase in torsional moment capacity make it a single-rail alternative in applications previously requiring two rails.

Both new guide rail sizes, 65/100 and 125, come with the proven Rail Seal(TM) cover strip, machined aluminum end caps and additional lube ports. They can be ordered in single-piece lengths up to 4 m, or as composite rails when lengths greater than 4 m are required.
