Diamond Series 5500 Ag Pumps Provide Maximum Pump Life with Harsh Chemicals

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Delavan Ag Pumps, Inc. introduces Diamond Series 5500 Roller Pumps. A special alloy body and end plate for maximum durability allows Diamond Series pumps to last up to 10 times longer than conventional cast iron pumps when pumping harsh agricultural chemicals, such as herbicides.

The five-roller Diamond Series pumps offer maximum flow output of 46.5 gpm at 1000 rpm and can handle fluid temperature to 140ºF/60ºC. Ultra-rollers provide smooth, high performance operation, and long wear life. Standard rotation is clockwise, with counter clockwise optional.

The 19-pound pumps come with a port size of 1-inch NPT, a solid shaft size of 15/16-inch. Shafts of 416 stainless steel have an extra-fine finish to minimize seal wear. Heavy-duty sealed bearings support both ends of the shaft. Close tolerance machining on the corrosion-resistant rotors assures maximum flow and pressure, and prolongs roller life. Available options include PTO adapters and reverse rotation. A Buna-N seal ring provides a positive seal between the end plate and pump body.

Agricultural fluids can corrode most general purpose pumps in a short period of time. Delavan Ag Pumps offers a choice of body alloys to meet fluid requirements. Delavan agricultural pumps also come standard with a stainless steel shaft and rotor assembly, along with Viton seals, for long-life and reliable operation.
