Original Press Release:

"Roundup Ready" Diamond Series 6600 Ag Pumps Tested to Last 10 Times Longer Than Typical Cast Iron Pump

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Delavan Ag Pumps, Inc. introduces Diamond Series(TM) 6600 Roller Pumps. These six-roller Diamond Series pumps offer maximum flow output of 19.6 gpm (74.5 LPM) at 1000 rpm and can handle fluid temperature to 140ºF/60ºC. Ultra-rollers provide smooth, high performance operation, and long wear life. Standard rotation is clockwise, with counter clockwise optional.

Agricultural fluids can corrode most general-purpose pumps in a short period of time. A special alloy body and end plate for maximum durability allows Diamond Series pumps to last up to 10 times longer than conventional cast iron pumps when pumping harsh agricultural chemicals, such as herbicides.

Shafts of 416 stainless steel have an extra-fine finish to minimize seal wear. Heavy-duty sealed bearings support both ends of the shaft. Close tolerance machining on the corrosion-resistant rotors assures maximum flow and pressure, and prolongs roller life. Available options include PTO adapters and reverse rotation. A Buna-N seal ring provides a positive seal between the end plate and pump body.
