Superail Moves Extremely Heavy Loads With Little Effort
Darnell-Rose Division in City of Industry, CA has announced that "Superail is now available for transporting extremely heavy loads on a manual or automatic roller-rail conveying system for a variety of applications including the movement of dies, bins, pallets, containers and other exceptionally heavy objects. According to Bill Dye, president of Darnell-Rose, "The phenomenal ability of Superail to sustain this type of loading is attributed to its unique patented high-density double ball-bearing roller design that allows a loading condition of up to 1000 lbs. per lineal inch". Superail is available in standard 48-inch lengths. Two parallel sections of standard Superail will support a load of 96,000 pounds". According to Dye, "Higher loads are not a concern. Just configure the conveyance system with three or more parallel sections of Superail for additional support".
The precision-crafted rollers of Superail are self-cleaning and require no lubrication. The optional air-brake system brings a heavy load to a secure stop at a predetermined point. The 2-inch high profile of Superail allows more room for tall loads and can be rotated onto either side or completely inverted for installation versatility.
