CLV1570B-LF Features Ultra Low Phase Noise



SAN DIEGO, July 2, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CLV1570B-LF in L-band. The CLV1570B-LF operates from 1560-1580 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -108 dBc/Hz @ 10KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 25 MHz/V.

The CLV1570B-LF is designed to operate at 5V DC supply while drawing 24 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85ºC. This VCO features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -25 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI package with low shield measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x 0.13 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CLV1570B-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
