NEW Rodless Rail Slide Features Enclosed Precision Bearing System

PHD announces the release of its NEW Series SFP Slide. The rail bearing technology of the slide provides smooth, precise linear motion within confined spaces. These space saving slides are available in two bore sizes (27 mm & 40 mm) with travel lengths up to 3400 mm in 25 mm increments and provide the lowest deflection and highest moment capacity combination in the industry.

The Series SFP Slide features a stainless steel outer band and saddle scraper seal to enclose the bearing system and continuously protect the unit's internal mechanisms from contaminants. The slide's body incorporates side switch slots for convenient mounting of PHD's Series 6790 4 mm Reed and Solid State Switches.

Other standard design features include adjustable cushions for smooth deceleration at end of travel, two standard port locations on end and side of each cap, and two precision fit dowel holes. Series SFP Slides are conveniently designed to interface directly with PHD Series STP and Series SK/SL Slides eliminating the need for transition plates. The saddle is easily removed to allow for custom machining.

Optional hydraulic shock absorbers are also available to provide maximum deceleration control and load stopping capability for heavy loads at higher velocities.
