Humphrey HORV Series Rodless Cylinders Are Shorter, Lighter and Thinner Than Conventional Rodless Cylinders

The Humphrey HORV Series of rodless cylinders are shorter, thinner and lighter than conventional rodless cylinders of equal bore and stroke. Utilizing a flat piston creates a profile up to 40% thinner. The block type end cap eliminates the need for mounting brackets and the reduced zero stroke dimension results in a dead stroke that is 35% shorter than conventional band-type rodless cylinders. The lightweight body places no loads on either the actuator axis or the stand, even when using an Y-Z axis. Humphrey's unique high strength stainless steel seal band helps the HORV cylinder achieve long life and lower leakage than cylinders utilizing plastic seal bands. A sensor switch track uses a cap groove that allows the lead wires for embedded sensor switches to be drawn out from a single surface. Humphrey HORV Series Rodless Cylinders are available with NPT ports and various mounting options, including a shock absorber unit and F-tube supports.
