ITT Industries, Cannon Delivers New Rocker Switches With Unique Functionality
NEWTON, MA (April 3, 2003) - Featured among a series of six new rocker switches from ITT Industries, Cannon, the DA miniature, panel mount rocker switches offer extra functions and electrical options at low cost. Fitting the standard 19,2 x 12,9mm mounting hole, these switches are available with a wide rage of actuator colours and styles, including two tone and illuminated rockers.
There is also an extensive choice of switch functionality - single and double pole, momentary and maintained. The single pole version is specified at 16A, @125VAC, 1/3HP (10A at 250Vdc, ½ HP - UL, CSA). Electrical life is 10,000 cycles.
To prevent accidental actuation, designers have a choice of two actuator guarding features: either a wall that stands proud around the actuator, or a recessed guard with the frame fitting flush to the front panel.
Typical DA pricing at 1,000 pieces depending on the specific model is $0.35 with lead-times of 8 weeks. Cannon's new family of six panel mount rocker switches also includes round styles, single and double power devices, and speciality products.
