Lincoln Electric Introduces the New System 20 - A Dual-Zone Turntable Robotic Welding System

System 20

Cleveland - Lincoln Electric introduces the new System 20, a pre-engineered robotic software and hardware welding solution. It is ideal for customers with small- to medium-sized parts that do not require positioning.

The system features the latest technology from Lincoln Electric and FANUC Robotics, including:

o Servo-driven positioners that are nearly maintenance-free with no mechanical components to fail such as cylinders, brakes, controls, etc.

o Lincoln Electric Power Wave® i400 and AutoDrive(TM) 4R90 robotic system

o FANUC ArcMate 100iC robot arm, which provides high speed, six axes for maximum flexibility

System 20 offers a 58" dual-zone work system that can handle 600 lbs. per side, maximum payload capacity, with an index time of just two seconds delivered by the FANUC driven servo positioner.

This modular design can start off as a two-sided system and be modified later to become three- or four-sided for small part profiles. With a small footprint designed to optimize floor space, the robust steel skid structure is equipped with fork pockets for easy placement anywhere on the shop floor.

Focused on the operator, the cell is equipped with features specifically designed to improve the work environment. The control panel delivers push-button controls for ease of operation and large roll away side doors for easy programming. PC board safety controls and integrated operator safety devices provide additional protection.

Additional value-added features include storage drawers for tips, nozzles and small tools, as well as work surface cut-outs to accommodate fixture utilities for a flexible and clean appearance.
