Oxford, CT - Lewis Cleaning Systems, LLC, a recognized leader in precision and ultrasonic parts cleaning systems announces the newly developed TDR-50 automated hoist transport system. The TDR-50 is designed to interface with commonly available multi-tank cleaning and processing tank lines and consoles. Its rugged construction and microprocessor based electronic controls provide reliable user-friendly automation of simplex to complex processing tasks. The unit is capable of handling up to 110 lbs, (50 kg) of load and part fixtures.
The TDR-50 is programmed through simple keystroke programming, using operating codes and keypad numeric functions, program is entered to memory. Process steps can be added or deleted from a program by the push of a button. The microprocessor is capable of storing up to 255 steps that can be divided among a maximum of 10 programs. An LED display indicates the operating code and X-Y coordinate for each step in the program. A self-diagnostic function will display an error code in the unlikely event of a problem.
The TDR-50 can vary both vertical and horizontal processing speeds within a program from 7.5 FPM to 60 FPM. This ability to vary speeds within a program can substantially increase processing speeds. Electronically controlled ramping and braking functions ensure smooth acceleration and stopping, providing reproducible and precise positioning of the load.
