Customers Gather with Robocom Employees, Strategic Partners and Industry Leaders
to Discuss the Latest Products and Innovations
Massapequa, February 13, 2007 - Robocom Systems International, a Global provider of Supply Chain Execution Software today announced the successful completion of Rendezvous 2007, its User Conference last month in San Antonio, TX. Held in partnership with Revere Inc., another Avantc© LLC company, the conference was attended by customers from a wide range of industries. Attendees were able to learn about enhancements to RIMS®, the company's flagship product, as well as view new products and attend a networking event to share ideas and solutions.
Robocom's CEO, Aivars Lode, addressed the conference with remarks that emphasized the importance of capitalizing on information already contained in the RIMS® solution to maximize the value of existing supply chain operations. Robocom team members discussed new tools that can increase visibility into the supply chains of RIMS® users and their trading partners. In addition, attendees were introduced to many new solutions that will enable RIMS® users to further improve their supply chain efficiency, including:
o IMMPOWER, an industry-leading, ultra-thin client Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) application from Revere, which addresses key EAM/CMMS performance areas such as: Asset and Work Management, Purchasing, Materials, and Cost Management.
o Warehouse PLUS and Transport PLUS, two Engineered Labor Standards (ELS) solutions, which will enable Robocom customers to harness the existing RIMS data in order to gain even greater insight and control over the productivity of their workforce.
o STAR, a full-featured Transportation Management System (TMS) solution, which will further reduce transportation-related costs, improve customer service, and increase the timeliness of order fulfillment.
o WebStore, a web front-end, which increases customer satisfaction and minimizes lost sales by providing customers with visibility into RIMS® inventory and commitment data.
