Model 7232 RJ45 A/B Relay Switch with Remote Serial Control



Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, announces its new Model 7232 RJ45 A/B Relay Switch with Remote Serial Control. This switch affords local and remote access functionality. Manual control is accomplished by simply pressing the front panel pushbutton to change the switch position. Remote access can be accomplished by RS232 commands sent via the Remote Serial Port. Users can remotely monitor status, control switch functions, and lockout the front panel pushbutton. Front-panel LEDs display the current switch position and power status.

The switch ports are transparent to all data. All 8 leads of the RJ45 interface are switched. All switched signals are passed via copper contact relays that maintain their position and continuity even in the event of a power loss or failure.
