RVSI/NER is pleased to announce a new generation of cost-effective and versatile NERLITE® Ring LED Illuminators available now from RVSI/NER distributors worldwide. Designed as a total lighting system, these products offer packaging and mounting advancements that put the emphasis on product durability and application versatility. The new packaging employs a design where the major subassemblies - the lensing, LED circuitry and housing - 'nest' together and are secured with a single threaded lock ring. No screws are used in this assembly. The light's lens is recessed and secured within the housing around its entire aperture, protecting it from scratches, cracks and breakage. A flexible power cable is firmly secured to the housing with an integral strain relief, facilitating installations where cable routing is restrictive while insuring integrity of power delivery. The ring apertures (Inside Diameter - ID) are maximized to accommodate the widest variety of lens sizes and light-to-lens positioning options. Mounting options include metric-threaded 'blind' holes that isolate electrical components from mounting hardware, and accessory lens adapters for direct mounting to the filter threads of common camera lenses.

The R-70-2 Series - 70 mm OD (43.4 mm ID) Ring LED Illuminators with 48 LEDs
Each series contains a wide selection of standard models to assure broad application coverage:
- Diffused, non-diffused, or focused (3 Standard focal lengths available; 70, 102 or 127 mm; custom lensing on request)
- Red (660 nm) or white (6500 Kelvin) LEDs (green, blue, IR or mixed wavelengths on request)
- 12 or 24 volt continuous and 24 volt strobed power options
Two additional series, the R-100-1 Series (100 mm OD Ring LED Illuminators with 36 LEDs) and R-100-2 Series (100 mm OD Ring LED Illuminator with 72 LEDs) will be released in the next business quarter (July - September 2002).
