Ricoh Corporation Launches Intelligent Barcode Software Solution
WEST CALDWELL, N.J., Dec. 5 / -- Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, today introduced Ricoh's Intelligent Barcode Solution (IBS) software that enables a wide range of Ricoh Multifunctional Products (MFPs) to print barcode and optical character recognition (OCR) from a single program.
Today, many businesses print barcode and OCR to keep track of inventory and mission critical documents, requiring a separate device or supplemental hardware. IBS seamlessly integrates with Ricoh MFPs to expand functionality with the ability to incorporate barcode printing into the device's daily function. The user-friendly design enhances productivity for businesses operating in the SAP environment by automatically translating the HP Barcode language into the Ricoh print driver language without interrupting workflow.
