Ricoh Corporation Enhances Color Printer Line with Introduction of the Ricoh G7500

WEST CALDWELL, N.J., Nov. 22 /-- Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, today introduced the Ricoh G7500, a versatile color laser printer that provides a cost-effective document management solution for small businesses at surprisingly fast print speeds.

Documents as large as 11" x 17" can oftentimes slow down the printing process, reducing productivity and efficiency overall. The motive behind the development of the Ricoh G7500 was to create a color printer that was able to print larger, high-quality color or black and white documents quickly while keeping costs down and performance up. The Ricoh G7500 minimizes the wait time associated with printing due to a fast first print speed of less than nine seconds, allowing more time to be focused on other tasks at-hand. The incorporated GelSprinter Wide Print Head enables untraditional size paper to be printed at a fast speed of 20 pages per minutes (ppm) letter size, keeping up with the demands of busy business environments.

Keeping costs down is a constant mission in the business world. The Ricoh G7500 is able to minimize costs by reducing nearly half the amount of ink used to print graphics and images, printing documents on both sides of each sheet - - cutting paper usage in half -- and utilizing long-lasting print head and ink cartridges that empty completely. Additionally, quality is not compromised due to the lower costs as the Ricoh G7500 produces crisp and clear color images up to 1,200 x 1,200 with quick-drying GelSprinter "viscous ink" technology.

"Ricoh recognizes that high-quality does not necessarily have to correlate with high-cost," said Hede Nonaka, vice president of marketing for Ricoh Corporation. "The Ricoh G7500 allows small businesses to maximize printing potential with crisp, laser-quality prints, without spending a fortune -- keeping operations running smoothly and cost-effectively."

Ricoh is leading the charge with the development of environment-friendly products, and the G7500 is no exception. Energy Star compliant, the G7500 exemplifies Ricoh's longstanding commitment to developing office solutions with superior energy and supply saving features including power-saving sleep modes, duplex modes, low noise levels and minimal ozone emissions.

The Ricoh G7500 is now available at a suggested retail price of $749.00.
