TWINSBURG, OH - Pepperl+Fuchs introduces IDENT Control - a comprehensive real-time RFID product identification and data collection solution ideal for inventory, part identification, routing and error tracking applications.
IDENT Control features a graphical display and configuration keys for easy setup and operation, and a cast aluminum housing for rugged durability and exceptional noise immunity. Short range and long range RFID read/write data carriers can operate simultaneously, and can read data up to 120mm and 2m away, respectively. The system provides an interface to commonly used bus systems, including Ethernet (TCP/IP and Modbus/TCP), PROFIBUS, and RS232 serial communication. Additional interfaces and protocols such as DeviceNet and Ethernet/IP will be available later in 2005.
