Terso Solutions, Inc. Releases On-Premise Version of Jetstream® RFID Software Platform

MADISON, Wis. -- Terso Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of automated inventory management solutions for healthcare and life science, today announced the release of their On-Premise Jetstream® RFID Software Platform, to go along with the existing cloud version of Jetstream. Jetstream enables independent software companies and enterprises to add distributed RFID technologies quickly through simple programming interfaces.

"This newly released version of the platform allows organizations to install Jetstream locally, which is often required in highly secure or highly regulated environments."
Many RFID software companies provide closed loop systems forcing you into processes, functionality, and workflows that won't match what your business does or needs. Jetstream® is different. It was built from the ground up to allow any application to easily integrate RFID into its processes, not the other way around.
For most applications, adding RFID is as easy as adding a device using simple commands and processing RFID events. While most applications simply process inventory events, some applications will require more control. For those applications, Jetstream® offers advanced features for device management, device monitoring and sensor monitoring.
Developers and engineers will be excited to know that Jetstream offers a full featured open ReSTful application programming interface (API) and event publishing service for integration. Additional development tools including .Net and Java software development kits (SDK), open source reference applications, Jetstream administration console (JAC), and a device simulator are also available to simplify and expedite development on Jetstream®.
