Toronto, Canada - GAO Embedded (www.GAOEmbedded.com) is offering its high frequency RFID reader module kit for smart label reading and ticketing. It is designed for integrators to install into other devices such as printers, terminals and handheld devices with a DIP28 pin package.
This RFID reader module kit, model 713002, operates at a high frequency of 13.56 MHz. It has passed CE and FCC technical certification and reads ISO 15693 compliant RFID transponders at a distance of up to 20 cm depending on the size of antenna. It provides a baud rate of 19,200 bps and allows for multi-detection. RS232, UART and RS485 interfaces are available for communications. The reader module has a minimal power requirement of only 5 V DC, 80 mA transmit while 70 mA standby.
