Envipco Announces Launch of Revolutionary RVM Bulk Feed Technology

AMERSFOORT, The Netherlands, -- Envipco Holding N.V. (EHNV), a public listed company on the NYSE Euronext Brussels (Symbol: ENVI) and a leading provider of recycling systems and solutions to the beverage and retail industries, announces the launch of Envipco Quantum, the world's first truly bulk feed Reverse Vending Machine (RVM).

For many years, RVM suppliers have always been challenged, "Why do I have to put my containers in one at a time? It is time consuming and messy." Bulk feed has always represented too many recognition and container handling challenges in the past.  Envipco successfully demonstrated bulk feed handling with our Reimagine pilot in non-deposit markets. Through this learning experience and breakthrough innovations, Envipco is now able to deliver on the customer demand for bulk feed technology in deposit container markets.

Quantum means a quantum leap in RVM technology from single feed machines to a fast and convenient bulk feed solution offering total automation of container redemption. Bulk feed means maximum speed and convenience for the consumer - simply empty full bags of aluminum and plastic containers into the machine and let Quantum do the rest. No more time-consuming handling of dirty and sticky containers. The machine does multiple tasks in parallel while processing 100 containers per minute in the shortest possible time to complete the transaction. The Quantum can be installed inside stores or outdoors as a self-contained recycling center. Aside from bulk container handling, one of the greatest challenges that Quantum solves is that it can be installed in the existing RVM store footprint. Quantum also features Envipco's state of the art compaction technologies that provide the industry's highest accumulation capacities. Quantum has a user friendly and interactive design with a large 17" touch screen which also supports store rewards programs and other types of promotions before the customer shops. The machine provides advanced diagnostics and self-cleaning features as well as remote operations; all reducing any downtime and total cost of ownership.

Quantum is based on proven Envipco technologies and is well protected with multiple international patents.  Quantum is currently being tested with a strategic partner and will be commercially available as from the third quarter of 2015.
