SOMERSET, NJ - Permabond LLC launches Permabond HM 160 Retaining Compound PERMABOND anaerobic HM 160 retaining compound is a high strength medium viscosity retaining compound that resists temperature up to 350F. The medium viscosity allows for ease of application while still ensuring complete coverage to create 100% contact between metal surfaces. It reduces cost by allowing the use of lighter press fits and less expensive machine finishes. Alternate assembly methods include costly, very tight tolerance components and time consuming heated assembly processes.
