Sigma Micro Releases SigmaCommerce 4.0 Software Suite for the Multi-Channel Retail Market

INDIANAPOLIS, July 9 -- Sigma Micro, a leading provider of solutions for multi-channel retailers today announced the release of SigmaCommerce 4.0 -- the latest version of the fully integrated software suite. Just a few of the key features that were added include a tight integration to the Sage MAS 500 software for financials, a tight integration to Kewill Clippership for shipping, Payment Card Industry Standards Compliancy (PCI) and an enhanced point of sale.

"With this release we add to the strength of SigmaCommerce in helping multi-channel retailers leverage their data across channels," said Joe Swern, President of Sigma Micro. "As an example, with the recent increase in postal rates, companies using the marketing module within SigmaCommerce can determine which customers are most likely to make a purchase, via phone or online, if they receive the right catalog and promotion. This way you mail fewer catalogs with the same results in revenue."

Overall fifteen key enhancements were added to the 4.0 release that can be leveraged by multi-channel retailers to lower costs and generate more revenue. These enhancements were presented to Sigma Micro clients at their recent Users Conference. In addition to the large group of clients in attendance, many of Sigma Micro's partners, including PayPal, Chase Paymentech, Key Position Web Marketing, Midco Call Center, Birch Incorporated, and Kewill, participated through exhibits and presentations.

SigmaCommerce, the flagship product for Sigma Micro, is a modern stack technology .Net 3.0 application with a single relational Microsoft SQL database that allows today's retailers with a web store, print catalog and retail store front to use a fully integrated system rather than try to interface multiple products and databases.
