CHESTERLAND OH — Microsoft has altered how Internet Explorer renders some flash content in Internet Explorer 8 and above in Windows Vista, 7, and 8. This can cause issues in the Accsense monitoring system web interface when trying to load historical graphs of users' data. This problem manifests as a constant 'loading' message instead of the graph appearing. However, there are a few quick workarounds to remove the problem entirely. To resolve the issue, users just have to place Internet Explorer in compatibility mode. There are 2 quick ways to do this. The first is a temporary fix: on the right-hand side of the address bar, you will see an icon that looks like a torn sheet of paper.
Simply click on this symbol in the graph window, and it will reload in compatibility mode and show the graph properly.
For a permanent fix, just access the drop-down menus for Internet Explorer. To do this, simply press the [ALT] key on the keyboard, and you'll see a series of drop-down menus appear just below the address bar (File, Edit, View, Tools, etc.). Click on the Tools menu. You'll see the following menu:
Choose Compatibility View Settings, and then click the check box next to 'Display all websites in compatibility view', then click 'Close'. This will permanently fix the graphing issues.
