Bohemia, New York (June 2008) Data Device Corporation (DDC) announces the release of a -55 to +125 °C temperature grade RD-19240 resolver converter. The new RD-19240FS-100 resolver-to-digital converter is highly repeatable to 1 LSB in 14-bit mode and contains programmable features such as resolution, bandwidth, and tracking rate, which allow for best dynamic configurability. A built-in-test output additionally monitors for loss of signal, reference frequency, or tracking. "This new temperature option opens up many new design possibilities for applications requiring a wide temperature range and up to 14 bit resolution", stated DDC's Senior Product Marketing Specialist, Roger Tomassi. Package type is a small 10 x 10mm MQFP.
