Resistor Array Conserves Board Space Without Power Rating Loss
Bradford, PA - October 25, 2001 - KOA Speer Electronics introduces the new CNK1F8 (size 0602) to its line of chip resistor arrays. The CNK1F8 resistor array incorporates 8 resistors into one package, utilizing less board space than individual chip resistors. With a power rating of 63mW, the unique design of the CNK1F8 integrates the power rating of a larger chip (size 0603) into a smaller width component (size 0402) conserving valuable board space without sacrificing power. The 0.5mm pitch of the CNKlF8 is compatible with the pitch of many IC/memory chips for ease of product design.
The CNK1F8 is manufactured to KOA Speer type RM73 standards including a thick film resistor element and anti-leaching nickel barrier terminations with 90/10 solder plating (standard). The CNK1F8 array features isolated resistor elements and convex
terminations with square corners. Resistance value is marked. Tolerances include ±1%, ±2% and ±5%, with a TCR of ±200 ppm/°C max. The resistance range (E-96 values) is 10 Mohm-100 Kohm. Paper tape packaging is standard.
The CNKlF8 array is ideal for use in telecommunications, computer, and wireless equipment applications including lap top computers, notebook computers, scanners and PDA.
