Series 840 Quick-Disconnect Resistance/Resistivity Probes
Low-Cost Probes Available Individually Or In Kits!
Electro-Tech Systems, Inc. (ETS) of Glenside, PA is pleased to introduce the 840 Series of low cost, quick-disconnect Resistance/Resistivity Probes. The probes may be purchased individually or as part of a Resistance Measurement Kit.
The 840 Series Probes are the latest addition to the ETS line of resistance measuring instruments. Designed for use with ETS 800 Series Meters, the probes may also be used with other meters. The Model 848 Universal Handle Assembly is designed to allow the probes to be changed in a matter of seconds. The handle features a machined Delrin housing, BNC connection and a 3-foot, two conductor shielded Teflon cable terminated with standard banana plugs. Alternately, the probes may be used with a standard shielded BNC cable in place of the handle. The 840 Series is composed of the following:
- 841 - 1/2" Dia. Pin-Style Probe
- 842 - 1" Dia. Pin-Style Probe
- 844 - 1/2" Point-to-Point Pin-Style Probe (w/Conductive Rubber Electrodes)
- 845 - 2.5" Dia. Flooring/Worksurface Probe
- 848 - Universal Handle Assembly
The Models 841, 842 and 844 consist of an array of gold plated, spring loaded electrodes designed to allow the user to measure small, flat, uneven and curved surfaces. The Model 845 is a lightweight version of the ESD Association S4.1 & NFPA 99 5-lb Probe (ETS Model 850). With a weight of approximately 1-lb, the Model 845 is a user-friendly alternative for repetitive and high volume measurements.
