Resellers Rate Seiko Instruments a Leader in POS Printers
TORRANCE, Calif. - July 19, 2006 - Seiko Instruments USA Inc., Micro Printer Division, announced its industry-leading line of receipt printers is honored in the current issue of Vertical Systems Reseller (VSR) magazine, a leading publication for resellers in the point-of-sale (POS) market.
This first-ever POS Leaderboard is the July 2006 issue cover story, featuring recent research on VSR subscribers who ranked POS hardware companies across six product categories and five criteria. Seiko Instruments Micro Printer Division is featured in the "Top 10 Receipt Printers" across all five criteria and the overall list.

The POS Leaderboard ranks vendors in six product categories: receipt printers, scanners, integrated POS systems, touchscreens and monitors, keyboards and cash drawers, and handheld and mobile POS devices.
Voters ranked the companies whose products they have either sold or implemented based on: product features and functionality, product innovation, product reliability, vendor support and service, and competitive pricing.
