Research Group Looks to Digisonics PACS and Structured Reporting System for Remote Reading Capability

HOUSTON - Cardiocore, a leading cardiac core lab based in Rockville, Md., enhanced their Digisonics PACS and Structured Reporting System for cardiovascular research studies. The facility added the remote reading application, DigiNet Pro, providing researchers with secure web-based access to the complete cardiology PACS and structured reporting system. Users will be able to review study images and create a professional, structured report from anywhere at any time via the Internet.

Cardiocore will also implement INVIA Corridor 4DM licenses, allowing users to perform advanced nuclear image analysis and quantitation. Digisonics offers seamless integration with INVIA, allowing the program to be launched directly from the Digisonics system with a single click directly. Images processed in Corridor 4DM are stored back into Digisonics for easy review with the patient's full cardiovascular record. Combined with Digisonics' nuclear reporting functionality, users will be able to quickly review studies, perform analysis and record their findings for nuclear studies in a professional structured report.

An additional PDF Export interface will export a PDF copy of the finalized cardiovascular report directly to Cardiocore's EMR, CardioPortal. The result is a fully integrated and seamless workflow creating efficiency and saving valuable time.
