Universal GX-4000 Replacement Panel Helps Minimize Sectional Door Repairs
MILWAUKEE--The Rite-Hite Aftermarket Corporation introduced the Universal GX-4000 Replacement Panel today. The Universal Panel is a solution to the continuing problem of sectional door damage, while also helping to minimize maintenance costs and door repairs at the loading dock. "Rite-Hite Aftermarket developed the Universal GX-4000 Replacement Panel after seeing sectional door problems many customers were experiencing at the loading dock," Rite-Hite Aftermarket President and CEO Paul Maly said. "The GX-4000 is already improving the safety and efficiency of many sectional doors across the country." Made from an extruded vinyl material, the Universal GX-4000 Replacement Panel can be retrofitted to most existing sectional doors. The GX-4000 has an interlocking modular design that allows for configuring different sectional door panel heights. Available in lengths up to 12-foot 2-inches, the GX-4000 Replacement Panel incorporates a integral support system which provides it with an optimum combination of flexibility and rigidity, which allows the panel to withstand the more common bumps and fork truck impacts at the loading dock. If the Universal GX-4000 Panel is impacted by a fork truck, it will not take a "set" like conventional panels. While the Universal Panel may show evidence that it was impacted, it will not affect the operation of the door. If you need to replace a GX-4000 Panel that was severely impacted, the modular design allows for single slat replacement. To remove the impacted slat, simply remove one or two of the end caps; slide out the impacted slat and insert a new one; reattach the end cap; and your door is back in operation. The Universal GX-4000 can be used for bottom, intermediate or top section panel replacement. For intermediate panel replacement, the Universal GX-4000 can be ordered with optional 24-inch by 8-inch windows or a full-width translucent slat.
