New Service for Almco Equipment Users Renews, Revitalizes, Saves Big Money

Unique 'Rebuild/Refurbish' Program Available to Owners of All Models, All Ages of ALMCO Machines

ALBERT LEA, Minnesota (August 12, 2005) - Time for a tuneup? Or repair or replacement of a tub lining, or a bearing or two, or a complete drive? Or installation of a labor-saving feature available only on newer equipment?

If your vibratory finishing machine - whatever its age, whatever the type - was manufactured by ALMCO, Inc., a new "rebuild/refurbish" program is now available to you from the 60-year-old Minnesota-based company. It can substantially extend the life of any piece of equipment - whether a round-bowl, a thru-feed or an end-discharge unit - at a cost that can be hundreds, perhaps thousands of dollars less than the purchase price of a new model.

"ALMCO is the world's largest manufacturer of standard and custom-designed equipment for metal parts deburring and finishing," according to Larry Beavens, national sales manager. "We have a vast number of our products currently in place in industrial plants and job shops worldwide. For those that need repair or refurbishing or upgrading, at a minimum cost to the user, our new program should be especially appealing."

A call to ALMCO, explaining the need, begins the process, Beavens notes. Machines are shipped to Albert Lea at the owner's expense, then set up and operated by ALMCO engineers and technicians in the manufacturer's test laboratory. Results of their complete inspection and evaluation are reported to the customer with recommendations for repair or replacement of parts if necessary.

"Or if the customer sends his machine to us for installation of an important update - an automatic lubrication system, a variable speed option, or an automated parts/media separation feature, for example - we tell him what we'll do and what it will cost," says Beavens. "He knows exactly what to expect and when he'll have his machine returned to him, completely power-washed and with a new coat of paint if requested, so he can resume his operations."

Turn-around time for rebuild/refurbish jobs, he notes, can be as little as two to three weeks, once the work begins. "This compares to delivery time of 14 to 16 weeks on orders for certain new models of vibratory equipment. So our rebuild program can be especially appealing to some people."

For complete details of the new program, contact ALMCO, Inc., 507 West Front Street, Albert Lea, Minnesota 56007, phone 1-800-521-2740, or the ALMCO distributor or region manager serving your area. In addition to a broad line of vibratory finishing machines, the company is also a major developer and manufacturer of metal parts washing and drying equipment and cyclonic filtration systems that allow recycling industrial fluids while providing important environmental protection.
