Renishaw Counts on MindManager to Improve ways of Working

LONDON - Investment in visualisation software to extend use across the wider organisation

Collaborative Work Management provider Mindjet® today announces that Renishaw, a UK-based global engineering company specialising in measurement, motion control, spectroscopy and precision manufacturing, is extending its use of visualisation software, MindManager, across the business.

Currently over 200 employees are using MindManager software at Renishaw and by purchasing a three-year enterprise license, the company will be able to standardise all versions and extend its usage across the organisation. In addition Renishaw will be able to take advantage of future MindManager upgrades until the end of February 2015.
MindManager enables business users to create an information hub in the form of a visual map that leads to smoother collaboration, faster decision-making and better control over business projects, helping to take ideas from vision to action.

"We are already using MindManager successfully in many business areas, including personal management, brainstorming, problem solving, departmental planning and organising projects," says Greg Nixon, Project Manager at Renishaw. "This investment in new, standardised licences means we can deploy the software where and when it is needed, giving even more of the business the opportunity to realise the benefits of MindManager."

Chris Harman, Regional Vice President - Northern Europe, Middle East, Africa at Mindjet, comments: "The information employees are required to process is growing exponentially, with a lot of information sitting in different silos. Using our collaborative work management platform offers a unique benefit by allowing companies to better visualise and then execute on information, putting plans in to action. We are delighted that Renishaw is exploiting the opportunities MindManager offers to improve the way its employees work."
