Advanced Monitoring Software for Homeland Security Mobile Applications

Oak Ridge, TN, -The ORTEC Products Group of AMETEK Advanced Measurement Technology announces the new Detective-Remote Mobile System for homeland security radionuclide identification applications.

The new software communicates with ORTEC Detective instruments to provide users the capability to acquire data remotely from one or more Detective products simultaneously. When combined with the highly sensitive Detective 200 hardware, the system offers users an accurate and reliable decision support capability that many nuclear security missions require.

"Detective-Remote Mobile System provides our customers with false-positive-resistant nuclear threat detection and identification functionality in a cost-effective package that can fit into any Concept of Operation," says Johnny Long, ORTEC Product Manager for Homeland Security Products.

With a simple-to-operate Windows®-based interface, the Detective-Remote can be used with any instrument in the ORTEC Detective product family, including Detective-200, Micro-Detective, and Detective-100T.
