Complete functions USB/RS-232 Serial Converter
Hard ware - USB to RS-232 serial converters supports USB 1.1/1.2/2.0 to RS-232 conversion in either DTE or DCE connection modes. Additionally, it supports up to 921.6 Kbps high speed baud rate of serial interface and 12Mbps USB data throughput.
It provides full flow control function for PSTN modem or the Programmable Logic Control device which flow control is requested to enable the connection of Data Communication Equipment.Â
5KV Human Body ESD protection - The JetCon 1101i 5KV isolation has been designed for use on the USB and on the power system for safety concerned when it is implemented on Medical Electrical Equipment. Moreover, it has the attributes of being to operate in -30~75°C in harsh industrial environments.
Software - The drivers with support various operating systems, inclusive of Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008/7, Macintosh and Linux. Enables users to configure the serial parameters, I/O interrupts, address mapping through the BIOS.
Applications of USB to serial converter
It serves primarily in the medical electrical equipment, mobile devices, instrumentation, and point-of sale applications.
