Reliability Tester qualifies non-standard devices.

Press Release Summary:

Standard Reliability Testing System performs life test, burn-in, electromigration testing, hot carrier testing, dielectric testing, and bump testing on specialized, non-standard semiconductor devices. While standard semiconductors can be tested using standard voltage and current range, this system tests above and beyond standard ranges to qualify multiple failure mechanisms and prove reliability.

ThetaDelta's Introduces Standard Reliability Testing System For Non-Standard Devices

Lawrence, MA - ThetaDelta Technologies Inc., a world leader in the design and manufacture of leading edge thermal conditioning products and reliability testing equipment, introduces its Standard Reliability Testing System for use in the testing of non-standard devices. While standard semiconductors can be tested using a standard voltage and current range, specialized device manufacturers require a system that can test above and beyond standard ranges to qualify multiple failure mechanisms and prove reliability. ThetaDelta's new system has the ability to perform lifetest, burn-in, electromigration testing, hot carrier testing, dielectric testing, and bump testing on specialized, non-standard devices.

"Many manufacturers make equipment for standard types of devices. Our product addresses the part of the market that may need to test their devices at 3 amps, or 300 volts," says Ron Vener, VP of Sales and Marketing, ThetaDelta. "This is a unique market niche with which we have a great deal of experience. Manufacturers making these specialized devices understand the importance of performing reliability tests during the manufacturing process and the challenges of having devices with a demanding set of test conditions."

The Standard Reliability Testing Systems start at $300,000 for units with sample ranges of 100-320 devices. A desktop system is also available for smaller sample sizes with an entry-level price of just over $100,000.
