Non-Silicone Release Coatings Leave No Adhesive Residue
A new line of non-silicone release coatings available on film and paper for applications such as label printing, specialty tapes and film casting has been introduced by MPI Technologies, Inc. of Winchester, Massachusetts.
MPI Non-Silicone Release Coatings are designed for applications where a residue cannot be left behind that might contaminate a material or process. Available on a variety of films and papers up to 82" W, these non-silicone release coatings will not change the properties of an adhesive.
A suitable replacement for silicone in applications requiring no transfer from the release liner to an adhesive, MPI Non-Silicone Release Coatings are offered on films from 0.25 to 30 mil thick and papers ranging from tissue to polypropylene coated Kraft 44 to 100# weight.
