Loctite Expands Product Offering By Adding Frekote(R) Line Of Release Coatings For Rubber Molding
Rocky Hill, Conn. - November 30, 2001... Loctite Corporation has expanded its existing product offering by adding the complete line of Frekote® release coatings for rubber molding to their existing product range. The Frekote line includes seven release coating products designed to meet the unique requirements of the rubber molding industry.
Loctite® Frekote rubber mold release coatings are available under the Aqualine® brand name. Products include Frekote Aqualine R-110 for general molded rubber goods; R-120 for molding difficult rubber-to-metal bonded parts; R-150 for high aspect ratio rubber goods, fluoro-polymers, and tire treads; R-500 for highly filled elastomers; R-550 for demanding molding applications; S-20 for heat cured molded silicones; and RC-321 a
economical dilutable concentrate.
Frekote products are recommended for releasing all natural and synthetic rubber compounds including silicone. These specialized coatings minimize mold fouling, lower reject rates, and eliminate rubber-to-rubber bonding failures and rubber-to-metal bonding failures. The high thermal stability of Frekote products ensures the greatest number of releases per application.
