Relays require only 0.18 in. between units for cooling.

Press Release Summary:

RV series, Din-rail mounted, solid state relays utilize thermal design. Models rated at 25 and 40 A measure less than 1.2 and 2.5 in. wide, respectively. In addition, RV relays have Superior Surge Survival(TM) design, which provides triple-layer protection against industrial power surges. Relays are activated by ac logic signals, dc logic signals, or analog 4-20 mA signals. Switched output is up to 660 Vac at 25 or 40 A at 40°C.

Continental Industries International Releases High Density, Solid State Relay Family

LEESBURG, VA - More amps per square inch. Continental Industries International introduces the new RV family of solid state relays. These Din Rail mounted relays use an advance thermal design so they only require 0.18 inches between them, for cooling. With a 25 amp model at less than 1.2 inches wide and a 40 amp model at less than 2.5 inches wide, these relays lead the industry with a new standard for solid state relays. In addition, the RV family has the Superior Surge Survival(TM) design that is a triple-layer protection against industrial power surges. These two innovations, thermal design and surge survival, ensure the best long-term performance in an industrial environment.

The RV family is activated by an AC logic signal, DC logic signal, or an analog 4-20mA signal. The switched output is up to 660Vac at 25 or 40 amps at 40°C. The entire family carries the new CE EN60947 mark as well as CSA and UL recognition.
