New Relay Features Optional Push to Test Button and Status Lamp



(Northfield, IL) -- Magnecraft & Struthers-Dunn has just introduced the new 78 series of 10 amp relays.

The two models are:
78XCX a 3 PDT, 11 pin relay
78XDX a 4PDT, 14 pin model.

These ice cube style industrial relays use quick connect plug in/solder terminals and can be specified in either a polycarbonate dust cover or with an optional top flange cover. Other optional features include a push-to-test button and a green L.E.D. status lamp.

Load contact rating for all models is 10 amps at 250VAC 50/60 Hz. AC operated relays are available in voltages from 6 to 240VAC, and DC relays handle from 6 to 110 VDC.

Class 78 relays are general purpose devices that are used in industrial control applications and are form-fit-function replacements for other manufacturer's models including the IDEC RH3B and RH4B series.

Mating sockets are DIN mounted with screw terminals and include the 70-78C series for the 78XCX (11 pin) and the 14 pin 70-78D series for the 78XDX relay. These socket have optional two-piece hold down clips.

Pricing in production quantities is $3.32. Delivery is stock to 12 weeks.
