Relay Output Module For µPLC
Toshiba has released a relay output module for the T1-16S Series µPLC
The RO108M relay output module clips onto the side of the T1-16S PLC. Each T1-16S can accommodate up to five (5) relay output modules, which makes it possible to have 40 (8 x 5) additional relay outputs on each T1-16S. The relay output module can switch/control 100 - 240 Vac or 5 - 24 Vdc.
These modules are isolated via photo-coupler. There are 8 relays per common. The external circuit is mechanically isolated from the internal circuit.
The TRO108 Relay Output Module can be used wherever it is necessary to have a relay contact switch ON/OFF in a control circuit. The TRO108 allows the T1-16S µPLC to control, alarm, or
monitor based on system conditions, This includes:
* Turn ON/OFF motors, solenoids, or interposing relays.
* Initiate alarms (lights, sirens, horns, etc).
* Multiplex analog signals into/out of the PLC,
