Solid State Relay Assembly Can Handle Loads Up To 60 Amps DC

HBControls announces a new line of Solid State Relay Assemblies rated for 60-amp loads. Available in a variety of models for diverse applications, these compact units accept
controller inputs of either 3.5-32 VDC or 90-280 volts VAC. Load currents range from 0.02 to 60 amps ADC. Load voltages range up to 400 VDC.

The assemblies consist of a Solid State Relay combined with an appropriately sized anodized aluminum heat sink that ensures reliability at rated power levels in an ambient operating environment up to 40° C. A load-suppression diode is standard on all models and finger-safe covers protect workers. Depending
on the load current, the relay will have bipolar output with 4000 V isolation or Mosfet output with 2500 V isolation. Models with Mosfet output offer parallel connectability. All units feature a proprietary mount for DIN rail mounting.

Solid State Relays have been proven in food processing, semiconductor manufacturing, plastic molding, and many other applications for the control of heaters, pumps, motors, solenoids, power contactors, lighting, and other equipment.

HBControls, based in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, is a leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of DIN Rail Mounted Solid State Relays and Custom Assemblies. The engineering and support
personnel are experts in the application and design of Solid State Relay Assemblies and are available for consultation on all projects. Additional products from HBControls include Dual Relays, Solid State Relay Monitors, and Current Transducers. The company's user friendly rating system eliminates the need for thermal engineering on the part of the design engineer and ensures optimal performance for rated environments.
