REGO-FIX® Features Revolutionary Toolholding Solutions at EASTEC

Indianapolis, Indiana, March 9, 2009 - REGO-FIX® will display an extensive lineup of Swiss quality toolholding solutions at EASTEC 2009. The company's revolutionary powRgrip PG system will be among the many innovations featured in booth 5449 from May 19 - 21 at the Eastern States Exposition Grounds in West Springfield, Massachusetts.

REGO-FIX's powRgrip PG system uses a toolholder and collet to generate the highest clamping force in the industry - higher than any shrink-fit holder - while still maintaining a T.I.R of less than 0.0001". The system is ideal for high speed machining applications and gives customers the ability to clamp tool shanks ranging from 0.2mm up to 1" in diameter.

Visitors to booth 5449 will also see the ER Coolant Flush Disk, an ideal cooling and lubricating solution for users without coolant through tools. Equipped with a long nose that acts like a directional spray nozzle, the flush disks are able to direct coolant down the shaft to the cutting tip of an endmill for extended tool life, efficient chip removal and improved results.

REGO-FIX's line of revolutionary ER collets also includes a range of metallic sealed collets. Designed to seal the tool to the collet and the collet to the toolholder, this product is ideal for applications that require coolant pressures up to 2000 psi through the tool. The Swiss-quality metallic sealed collets are designed for universal use, working with any standard or friction-bearing nut.

Additionally, REGO-FIX will showcase its balancing ring system, which allows standard toolholders to be upgraded at any time. Without the use of tools or weighted balls, the balancing ring system is able to balance the toolholder and assembly up to 42,000 RPM at any G-rating. Additionally, its uninhibited design enables the rings to rotate a full 360 degrees for infinitely adjustable weight distribution. REGO-FIX balancing rings are a cost-effective solution for users seeking extended tool and spindle bearing life, improved surface finish, and increased chip load.
